Although gear shouldn't really matter when you're looking at any photographer's work, it's always cool to see what's being used and how so. Here's a list of what I mainly use to shoot my photos at the moment.
This is my current go-to camera body. It's nice and light, making it easier to carry around and the image quality from the sensor is freaking amazing. Many photographers even swear by just shooting in JPEG. But what I especially like about the X-T2 is that it's a very aesthetically good looking camera too. Fujifilm made sure that the distinct traditional SLR form factor was apparent. Just look at how nice the ISO, shutter, and exposure compensation dials look on top.

I mainly use this lens as a walk-around when I'm out exploring places or hanging out with friends. The 23mm (roughly a 35mm on a full frame) is good focal length to start off if you're just getting into primes. You can shoot portraits, events, and even some landscapes with it depending on the scenario.

If you want to do street photography and keep a fair distance from your subjects then I think this lens is a great choice. It's also amazing for portraits too.

This lens is mainly used when I go shoot events because the focal length range gives me enough flexibility to shoot either wide or tight. It's even weather sealed, which is a nice plus.
