Where Did the Water Go?

Hey everyone! It has been awhile since my last entry. Why? I started a new job back in late April. Since then I've been pretty occupied with assimilating and learning the ropes of my new role. But since Hurricane Irma just passed through, I thought it would be cool to show you some pictures of the craziness that occurred right before it made landfall.

Pre-Hurricane Irma

Before Irma made its peak landfall, there were already plenty of natural signs that demonstrated the immense power this storm system had on Tampa Bay (or Florida in general). The east winds were so intense that they pushed water south out of the bays and bayous. These winds pushed so much water out that you could walk over areas once covered by it. Bayshore Boulevard just southwest of Downtown Tampa was one of these areas. So instead of spending extra time preparing for the hurricane, me and my friend David went out to Bayshore to capture this natural phenomenon.
